Made in Germany by Ernst Freihoff, this set of six paper ornaments draws on the traditional Glanzbilder style — richly illustrated, embossed and die-cut imagery with the wonderful character of antique Christmas ephemera.
Each Father Christmas is different, from rosy-cheeked portraits to full festive scenes laden with toys and winter details. Their varying shapes and sizes make the set feel collected rather than uniform, while fine gold tinsel loops add just a touch of sparkle amongst the branches.
